Landline - record release show in New York City on November 3rd

Landline’s debut album comes out on Loyal Label on November 1st. A few days later, on Novemebr 3rd at Brooklyn Conservatory of Music (58 7th Avenue), they will have their record release show. On this special occasion visual-art students from Barnard College will complete four canvases using the Landline process, as the band plays four sets throughout the afternoon. The hope is that this logical yet head-scratching system can inspire fresh ideas for other artists, just as it did for Doxas, Lober, Sacks and Sperrazza. “I hope they do their own version of this,” Sperrazza says. “Maybe a little better than us,” he adds with a chuckle.
